Virtual Gala 2021

Empowering the Future

Meet 11 year-old Sida and her two week-old sister Karia from the village of Oure. Sida spends much of her day caring for her baby sister. They share a love that is familiar to those of us in the West living in more comfortable circumstances. But they face challenges that are hard for us to imagine including daily battles with malaria, disease, malnutrition, a lack of clean water. In 25 Malian villages with families and children just like Sida and Karia, Ouelessebougou Alliance is tackling disease, improving sanitation, broadening nutrition, developing water solutions, and increasing opportunities for education.

Join with us as we celebrate 35 years working side by side with our Malian friends for a brighter tomorrow. Together, we are empowering the future.

Thank you for a successful 2021 event! We’ll see you next year.
